In this talk, we will introduce our recent work on the existence of canonical metrics on holomorphic vector bundles and the limiting behavior of the Hermitian-Yang-Mills flow. These works are joint with Zeng Chen，Chao Li, Jiayu Li and Chuanjing Zhang.
